Are you passionate about addressing inequality and discrimination – but not sure where to start? Join us for a glass of wine with like-minded businesses as we discuss share how you can start implementing this core Fair Trade principle in your business and have impact – right now.
This is the first in our series of events from the Fair Trade Association, breaking down what it means for a business to be Fair Trade. Fair Trade is a holistic system underpinned by 10 Principles. In our series we will look at each principle and how you can get started with Fair Trade in your business.
Following on from International Women’s Day, this session looks in depth at:
Principle Six: Commitment to Non Discrimination, Gender Equity, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Freedom of Association.
Hear from experts in the field and come away with tangible steps to take towards incorporating Principle Six within your enterprise.
For those joining in person, the 1 hour presentation will be followed by a 45 min workshop to help you build a business plan to implement this principle in your business.
If all businesses fully practiced Fair Trade, we would be put on the path to fixing global issues of rising inequality and the Climate Crisis.
This event will be hybrid, both live on Zoom and in-person at Seed Spaces.
Features for in-person attendees:
- Glass of wine on arrival
